Mike.....what a beautiful job. Excellent work. The subtle strings in the last bar or 2, whoa....them little hairs are standin' on end.
You had a question about a crescendo-cymbal. Have you tried building it from scratch, by this I mean, and correct me if I'm wrong, I'd use the full cymbal over 3 bars, the last bar being the first of the bridge. Then go in and adjust the parameters of each bar pertaining to the cymbal, ie:attack, peak level, intermitent(if you have it) level setting, effect.
Don't get me wrong, your efforts were terrific, and I for one can't find any flaw in your piece.
Beautiful piece of work, and great song. I used to sing it with a revue band. Brought back a lot of good memories.
