Hi

The DPX 1 is just a sample player. It loads and plays disks from the Ensoniq DSK, Emulator II, Prophet 2000 and Akai S900. It can have 8 outs and a CD-ROM interface. multi programs made on the machines mentioned will play on the DPX-1.

If you had the following settings on a Emulator II

Drums = channel 1
Bass = channel 2
strings = channel 3...etc

the DPX would replicate these.
