The snow storm you got last night is just beginning here. We expect to get 10 to 15 inches in the Peple's Republic of Maryland tonight.

As for the stand, I have their ultimate stand and it will pretty much sit on anything you wish, regardless of how uneven the floor surface. However, I no longer use it because it takes too long to set up. It's a 3 tier model that all fits into a satin bag. Any takers? $50 plus freight.

As for the footswitch problem, head to Radio Shack and you can buy some small, rubber nubs that are used for stabilizing electronic equipment. They look like 1/4-inch, clear silacone balls that have been sliced in half. They are adhesive backed, stick to nearly anything, and when 4 are attached to the bottom of a foot padal it will not slide on any surface.
