Hold onto your SC88, you will need it if you want the SMF's to sound right..It's not going to happen with the 2k...BTW, you are probally sending system exclusive[GS] within your files that the SC88 will read and the Yamaha can not read..You will have to enter program changes as well as other parameters ..as for the drums ,no such luck..you already own the best playback source [SC88 or any other GS], use it and be happy..
