One other question: How does the G70's acoustic piano sound? Is it of the SAME impressive sound quality as the one included on the Roland Fantom?

yes, it seems to be so. The grand piano sounds pretty natural and the drawbars are as VK serie (mini drawbars, but better as +/- buttons).
