In another post Miami Mo suggested a Boom Mount that allows you to attach a mic boom onto a X-type keyboard stand.

It's in the kb stand section, not the mic stand section.

I ordered it from Sweetwater ($13). It's great. Now I don't need to carry along a seperate mic stand (not ready for a headset mic just yet).
