Boom mount for keyboard stand that works

In another post Miami Mo suggested a Boom Mount that allows you to attach a mic boom onto a X-type keyboard stand.

It's in the kb stand section, not the mic stand section.

I ordered it from Sweetwater ($13). It's great. Now I don't need to carry along a seperate mic stand (not ready for a headset mic just yet).

Do you guys and gals think this will work with Ultimate support tubing [V-Stand]?

glad others are enjoying this gizmo..it's one of those
"why didn't I think of that" kinds of items..but it is truly
brilliant in its design..what a pleasure to carry, set up,
adjust, and use compared to a floor stand!

Unfortunately, this item won't fit the V-Stand..The expand capacity is too small..I am going to order the correct one from Frank..
