The Korg arranger cycle is typically two years. The arrangers are designed and built in Italy and not Japan, where most of the other things Korg makes come from.

That means they come out with a new model about every two years but they don't necessarily abandon the old model. They are still making and supporting both the Pa80 and Pa50 from the last cycle.
