Yes it could be done: the Trinity "files" partition is in FAT format and fully accessible by a PC: I have an external HD I use for my Trinity+ When I've downloaded new stuff, I connect it to my PC via the SCSI card and fill the hard disk with the new data. Then I reconnect the HD to my Trinity.

That's what I call "swapping a SCSI device between a PC and a Trinity"
