Cars are good for analogies. I think a more accurate comparison would be a 2002 Maxmia (good looks, full featured, current, though not a luxury car) versus a 1996 Infiniti Q45 (top of the line luxury car, but dated). Keyboards age more quickly than cars....new models also appear much more often.

In any case, the PSR 2000 is an excellent keyboard. Voices and styles are top-notch, and the sequencer is quite powerful.
