Jerry:
this is a re-print of my post regarding my idignation with the 9Kpro (which I just sold) and the PSR2000(which I am waiting to have repaired).
Here are my mayor gripes about both the PSR2000 and 9Kpro.
1) Registrations. Oh my God!!! where were these people when brains were given out? It figures. Now I know why they left all the programming for us to do! Is cumbersome and intricate to save anything specially registrations on both systems, all due to their low Ram.
2) Mixing Panel. What the hell is that!! these people are "magicians at confusion"!
They give me an "inferiority complex" could I be that Stupid? Does this thing help at all during a "live" performance?
3) Parameter Lock. Does not do what its name implies. Lock!
4) Backup. Could they possibly mean "Save" when they say "backup"? How do you save anything? Talking about "language Barrier".
5) Manuals. left out many important details on many important functions as in Step recording, on the style Creator.
6) RAM. "Embarrassingly" low when you consider how cheap memory chips are now a days.
7) On the 9Kpro , I still can't get it to playback Midi files channels 1-16 from Cakewalk Pro. Something I’ve been able to do with the PSR 2000. For more on my post go to:http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum37/HTML/003296.html
For all is worth.
