The screen/sun issue helps me to consider the Tyros' because of the flip-up screen. That has to help a bit outdoors.

But then there's the Bose thing with me too. Should my next major investment go towards improving the output of the sound (Bose) or picking up some board enhancements.

I'll probably end up keeping the 3000, buy the Bose, and attach an umbrella to the Bose pole for shade.


MrEd Got a good point, the more I hear about the Bose, it may be the better route than a new board.
