Nice to hear some postive talk about the 3000.It's a great board that has got lost in the shuffle with the release of the T2 I have been using one the past year and half the board has served me very well. But listening to all the hype about other boards and brands I'm getting anxious, but I still probably wait to see what the 3000 replacment has to offer.

Love the 3000, but curious to see whats in the replacement.
The screen/sun issue helps me to consider the Tyros' because of the flip-up screen. That has to help a bit outdoors.
But then there's the Bose thing with me too. Should my next major investment go towards improving the output of the sound (Bose) or picking up some board enhancements.
I'll probably end up keeping the 3000, buy the Bose, and attach an umbrella to the Bose pole for shade.
