There is no mic input on the PSRS700 and your opinion of the SD5 is right on. Good semi weighted feel, very good styles, but most of the sounds are just good and not a up to date as the Yamaha and Korg. I happen to think the riff function is not very useful because of not being able to put your own chord progressions in. It's a dated keyboard and it just came out 1 year ago!
