I am listening to some good advice from you guys. I just won two JBL Eon10 G2s on an Ebay auction.
Today I did three shows. In the middle of the third show, the one of my 2 MSR100 speakers that has been giving me grief started emitting the harsh distortion I've been hearing.
I immediately unplugged it and turned up the keyboard volume so the other speaker would be louder. I jiggled it around and plugged it in for the next song, and the rest of the gig went without a hitch.
One dilemna I have is that I don't want to sell this MSR100 speaker until it's fixed, and I can't get it fixed when my repair man cannot find a problem. It's still under warranty.
So in the meantime, even after I get my JBLs, I'm going to keep on gigging with this bum MSR100, especially at my less profitable venues, until it starts failing more often and I'm confident my repairman will see the problem.
