I use preset drum patterns when I play manual bass. I fail to see how you can trigger arranger featurs with single notes, unless you only play in major keys all the time and have simple, 3 or 4 chord songs.
Yamaha's priority method of LH arranger triggers will only allow major chords from a single note. Most songs I do, except for the simplest R&R or country, have at least a few variences to them.
