Hi Guys-

I've recently added a PSR3000 to be a backup board for my Tyros. My goal is to figure out how to best get all my song registrations from the Tyros to the PSR as painlessly as possible.

From reviewing information on the PSR Tutorial and SVP World websites- it appears there's two main ways to transfer data back & forth.

(...Regardless of the option I choose-I'll be utilizing Mike's registration program-for which really greatful!)

#1)

...Purchase a Smart Media Card Reader / Writer and after converting the Tyros files into PSR 3k compatable ones...Save them with the Reader/Writer to a Smart Media Card. Then simply load the registrations after loading the memory card into the slot provided for the PSR3k...

#2)

...Purchase a thumb drive/flash drive (about 128MB in size). Save the converted registration files directly to the thumb drive...then connect the thumb drive directly to the PSR3k and access the song registrations from that...

For those who have travelled down this road before me...which option do you recommend and why?
