If you don't disassemble the brackets that the music stand fits into when you transport your Tyros Al, you may be causing an inordinate amount of stress on the brackets during transport, especially if your carrying case lacks breathing room. Also, if you have kids in the house or possibly a big dog roaming around, one push on the music stand with an errant hand or 'paw' would be enough to crack the brackets.
Btw, I've put some pretty heavy notebooks with sheet music on my Tyros' music stand and I've yet to have any problem with the music stand brackets cracking or breaking thank goodness. Plus I always disassemble the brackets when transporting.
Best regards,
Mike
