Well, now I have two official night's work completed on the XD9, and ya know what ?
It STILL sounds great to me. I am working through some navigation issues, but the overall sound is just stellar. The crowd has remarked at the realism, and if I can ever get the vocalizer to do what I want ..... I just might keep it for a while longer.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the PA80 offers more realtime comfort levels in a lot of areas. I am deciding which features are the most important to me at this time.
I also had some trouble with the sequencer playback. I'll post more after I am sure it was not user error, as it often is !

Two more parties this weekend should make me pretty much "up to speed" on this thing, so I'll report more after my mini-vacation. (I'm running away till Wednesday)

Carry on people, and I'll report more on this ever evolving quest for perfection after a few days. Boy, these drums sound good.
