Those V-drums looks nice although I have not personally tried them. The high end models have two categories. First category has touch sensitive pads without actual drum membranes. The more expensive models have actual drum membranes and have more realistic feel like acoustic drums.

You really should go to Guitar Center or similar places - they have them there I'm sure. There are also websites for drummers that may help give good recommendations since I don't play much of the high end models. Can't help you much in that category.
