Here's what I've been told. If your dealer had pre-ordered the Tyros2 from Yamaha USA early enough, then their order would have been likely included among the first shipment batch of Tyros2's coming from Yamaha Japan, and it wouldn't matter WHERE in the US they were located (West Coast, East Coast, Mid West, etc), they'd receive their T2's late Oct/early Nov, as officially announced by Yamaha. Dan O'Neil obviously placed his inital Tyros2 order far enough in advance to be among the first T2's shipped.

Al, I suspect your dealer simply had not placed a pre- order for Tyros2, and that Tyros2 orders placed NOW, are at this point, now simply back-ordered (at Yamaha Japan) till after Christmas.
