If Roland is a GOD then the VA5 is a Prophet Loving the VA5

"Do va7 styles actually load in a va5, or are you just hoping it will work?"

Luc over at the yahoo VA7 club says the ZIP styles of the G1000 and VA7 are in STH format. The VA5 is basically the same as the VA7...and I guess I'm going with my gut feel on whether it will work on my VA5.
