I agree with your assessment except for the negatives, which I do not share the same "dissappointment" with you. I think the USB works at a very acceptable rate for me and I have yet to adjust the contrast on the screen (and my eyes are older than yours).

So, I whole heartedly agree with all your positives.

If I had to pick any negatives, be they minor for me....the speaker system is good sounding but not great sounding. Also I would like to see the correct chords displayed when transpostion is used.

In short I find the Ty an exceptional board and based on what else is out there at what price, I think the Ty well worth the money and IMO nothing else comes even sort of close to it in any respect.
