Vquestor, both the Edirol VSC and the Hyper Canvas should sound very good with version 1.3.

I don't know what is happening. It almost sounds like to much reverb - but that would have been the case in version 1.2 as well. I assume you have setup your soundcard appropriately (WDM or ASIO) as well as the outputs. You did the right thing by uninstalling version 1.2. The best thing would be not to use a version 1.2 .rcf file and rather create a new forte file.

If everything fails send the Brainspawn your log file and explain the problem. They will come up with a solution.
