AJ..run a line out directly from your mixer[Yamaha] into the Sub woofer...This way you have a volume control separately from your Bose, and will give you the gain without the limiter..


Also, I don't think a 250 watt sub is going to do what you are looking for...I use a 700 watt Yorkville for the same purpose[mostly Irish and Italian dancers , here though]..
