I could have lived with the poor speakers and noisy harmoniser but the sustain is not able to be shut off when playing manual bass lines, and THAT was a Bozo No No for me! I called Yamaha before I came to that conclusion, but if anyone knows a workaround - I'd love to hear about it.
I play live bass lines with the left hand alot, and having a polyphonic bass tone respond to a sustain pedal makes such MUD, that it becomes unuseable.
Any thoughts? Can the bass tone be made to play in mono maybe????? That'd work too!
