Hi. I also come from an organ background and still have an old Hammond M-100 spinet (and a 4 manual pipe organ console I'm slowly MIDI'fying, but that's another story).

How well do MIDI bass pedals work with the 9000? Does it pick up the bass note when playing auto-accompaniment as if it were the lowest note pressed on the left hand?

Does anyone make MIDI bass pedals besides Fatar and Roland? Does anyone make 25-32 note MIDI pedal boards?
