Hi Michael,
I've worked off note no's. Some of the xg drums don't exist in the gm standard so I've substituted best as I can. The one's with * are substitutions.
There's a real problem with note's 25 to 28. There are no brushes in the standard gm drum kit , only in the gm brush kit. Not sure how to get around that problem. It's one of the reasons I used to transpose my drums manually when I used to convert from xg to my technics. Technics also allowed you to have 2 drum tracks( same as psr's) but unfortunately gm doesn't.

I'm going to do a drum conversion table for OMB, and I'm hoping one way around it will be to do 2 of them. Simple case of try the drum track with both conversions and see which one sounds correct.
Anyway, hope you can make sense of the following

XG GM
Note Note No.
13 = 86 (C#-1 = D5 )
14 = 87
15 = 27
16 = 28
17 = 29
18 = 30
19 = 33*
20 = 32
21 = 33
22 = 34
23 = 76*
24 = 75*
25 = 38 Brush Set
26 = 40 Brush Set
27 = 39 Brush Set
28 = 40 Brush Set
29 = 40 Snare Roll which Doesn't exist gm*
30 = 85
31 = 40*
32 = 31
33 = 35*
34 = 37*

I have a feeling the xg brush set to the Gm brush set need fixing too. Not sure if that's part of your program though??

best wishes
Rikki
