Here's my latest PA80 hurdle:

Lets say, I got the panel voices set just right - piano/strings .... left hand bass, and all the arrangements shut off, with the chord triggers in the right hand. (the way I like it)......

You'd think I could now just change drum patterns at will, and the voices will remain the same, right??? WRONG !
Each time i call a new drum style up - the arrangement reverts back to being "on". This is not fair. At the very least - these units should be able to change drum patterns without changing anything else. What gives?
The X1 did the same thiong - gave me a whole new band (bass player and all) each time I changed rhythms.

What band changes personel on every number?
Who would EVER change instruments, EVERY time the song changes?

Anyone know a way around this, other than writing all the patterns over again? maybe there is a lock-out somewhere that I missed.

Seems like there should be a way to just have a new drum style and change nothing else. Am I alone here, ot does anyone else think this sounds like a useful idea?
