It's good to get opinions and details on specs here and and on other forums from other musicians who use similar equipment. I agree with Donny here though too, and the most important part of his message is that you will never really know how a board is going to work in YOUR hands until you try it yourself.
Example.... I love my PA80, and it's OS "thinks" like I do.. maybe abstract maybe not.. who knows, but many other players prefer the Yamaha boards. No matter what anyone says, the OS works better for me on the PA80.. no qualms or doubts in my mind.
Point being, we all approach music and other things in general in our own ways, this forum is excellent as a point of reference and for some very valuable information based on the experiences of it's very knowledgeable members. I think it really gives someone an edge when looking for what to try out and a "heads up" on the advantages of and pitfalls of each product, but in my mind it's no substitute for trying gear out in real time..
