This might be the dumbest idea ever. I played last weekend in a small bar. I have no idea what I'm doing with sound but the people were AMAZED at my sound. Commented strongly that the sound was terrific. Logitech z2200, Behringer UB1002 mixer. This was acoustic guitar/vocal only.

Now, they were saying that is AMAZING that you sounded like that out of those tiny little speakers. I have the sub on the floor, they probably didn't even see that. And the two satellites on a plywood platform attached to a mic stand. Kind of like Gary Diamond's stand setup. So, those are directly behind me in the corner of the stage (so, stage is wedge-shaped) about five feet high.

So, I was thinking, it would be cool if they couldn't see ANYthing. I'd be up there singing away and they see no speakers? Kind of like the Bose pole system, hard to see.

So, do you think that's a dumb idea and if not, how could I hide the speakers but have them be effective? Anything I could put in front of them and let sound through? Or some other way. I could put them on the floor but then, I'd be in the way. Probably 20-40 people max. Or I could put them on the floor at the corners of the stage, maybe, angled up. But then, I don't know if I could hear myself well enough. Might could. Quiet "listening" settings.
