In XG works, you can use any properly made styles and step record the chord, style variation, etc. For some reason some of the converted styles from Bob gelman's site are missing a Sysex code..It's a 6# double digit code and off the top of my head I can't remember what it is or where to find it, and rocket scientist that I am, I didn't write it down anywhere. Anyway, sometimes ( but not always for whatever reason ) the styles that don't have it will still play in
the PSR 740 or 2000, but they will not work in XG works. I use the CASM edit program to rework the style. I simply sent it to the CASM edit program, added the CASM section again, saved it again as a style and automatically the sysex numbers were added to it. I downloaded the program from Jorgen Sorensen's unofficial PSR Resource site if I remember correctly. Michael P Bedesem also has a program called "style fix" as well that can be accessed from Jorgen's site.
