The SxA100s sound weak when connected directly to my Ketron X1, Yamaha 9000 Pro, Alesis Quadrasynth, or Kurzweil K2000. I've used several different cables and put them up high on stands but nothing helps. However when I run them from a mixer they really "pump". DVJ
