I have a Tyros. It's less than 2 years old (I think) and I play it only an hour a day. The Synch Start button requires a good, solid firm push to activate it. And now the top of #4 button under the screen is like that, too. It's a pain, because I end up pushing these buttons twice. The first time, nothing happens, then I push it much harder to get it to activate. I am not heavy handed on the keyboard at all. I think Yamaha uses cheap parts.
