I agree that the thing takes a pounding; and this accounts for some of the cost, epecially hardware, but mechanically it isn't complicated and electronically even less so and on this basis I believe the cost of these units is excessive for what you get.

If the Ketron is reported as up to the strain I'll go for that otherwise it's likely to be the Roland.

Unfortunately I don't have room for a 17 note version.
