Shiju was asking for a 5 piece band, and the SX300's handle more power and have a wider dispersion horn. They are NON powered and require an amp - something we single performers hate to carry, if not absolutely necessary.
For you and me - the sx100a is better, but in a band situation, I'd rather have the extra oooomph of the 300's.
