I love the EV SX300's as tops and almost ANY powered sub will fill it out nicely.
(Also the UNpowered Mackies are a good choice - the powered ones overheat too often for my taste)The EV's will give you 300 clean continuous watts each, and the sub's are usually 600 watts or more. The Mackie sub has built in crossovers, so all you need is an amp for the tops. Do you need a complete package - mixer, effects, mics and all?
