I was interested in one of your comments about being able to play with the right hand down below the split point without anything weird happening. I had been curious as to how a piano player could access that important octave from middle C down without triggering accompaniment changes.

I had a question about this: If you played in split mode and transposed the upper section down an octave - but used the same sound sample for both sides - #1 - could you do that and #2 what would happen if you were holding a note (as part of a chord) in the left hand and ended up restriking the same note in the right hand (because of the transposing) - would it continue as part of the sustained note or register for only as long as you held it down??

thanks
