Just got a used PA600 from Guitar Center. It boots up to a PA900 screen, OS 1.2

Can I reinstall PA600 system?

If it does, I'd check which OS is more recent, maybe if the PA900 OS is newer, there might be features that will disappear if you downgrade...

The keyboard had a user section with Latino styles. The boot up screen said PA900, had an image of an old church, and said "Huancayo - Peru KorgPA Samples PCM. It appears that some added styles and changed the screen image.

I backed up everything and installed OS 2.0

Keyboard is working well. I have Guitar Center's generous 45 days to evaluate and return it. It was $900 with tax and shipping. I'll set up my basic gig sets, (with memory problems) and this will allow me to reinstall the OS on my PA4x and not worry about unforeseen problems.
