I have this evening (12th January) received a telephone call from John Barr's wife. John is seriously ill in hospital and has only a matter of hours or at the most a few days to live.
Doreen is trying to notify as many of his friends as possible. As she has no computer knowledge I said I would post details on the forum. I would suggest that no email messages are sent as they will not be read.
On behalf of members that knew John, I have offered our thoughts and prayers.
