Hey guys-

I carry a Commercial Inland Marine Policy through Erie to cover my equipment in case of theft or damage...I pay $75 annually for roughly $7500 worth of coverage...My deductable is $200...

I was notified today that a client, a large retirement community is now requiring all on site vendors to supply their own liability insurance. Failure to possess such a coverage may result in an inability to continue to work together any longer.

The minimums required are:

*1 Million dollars for Comprehensive general liability...
*1 Million dollars for Comprehensive auto liability...
*1 Million dollars for Comprehensive Excess indemnity (umbrella) liability...

...also, because I'm in Ohio, I have to have something called "Employee liability/Ohio Stop Gap (including intentional tort with substantially certain to occur" for another Million

A few questions:

*Does anyone else here carry liability for their audience members, specifically at nursing homes?

*Typical cost/coverages?

*Any other comments would be appreciated...

Thanks-

Bill
