It's kind of late to wish y'all a happy Independence Day, but here in Texas, it's still Fourth of July for a few more hours still. How was your 4th? I had a church gig in the morning, then went to a BBQ and played some music with friends. It's only 82 degrees so we feel like we need sweaters ! Usually were at triple digit heat by now but I guess all the heat got stuck up in the Pacific North West.

Here's a little something I did with just the iPhone canmera/mic, chromatic harmonica, and a backing I made on a Yamaha PSR S950.

Best Wishes to All!

Love the sound of a chromatic harmonica, which I had until just a few years ago - it was a Honer. Just not enough lung capacity to play it anymore, so I gave it to my grandson.

Having been to more than 100 countries in my lifetime, I can unequivocally state that this is the greatest country on the planet, and I am so very grateful that I reside here.

Happy Birthday, America,

Gary cool

That was cool Paul. Nice playing my friend, and a nice patriotic tribute.
Here in Eastern Pennsylvania, the 4th was perfect, weather and family was everything you could ask for.
Hope yours was the same smile

Montunoman, with the conditions that surround us you found a harmonica that made you smile. And that what it is all about. Nice!

You play well -- What harmonica are you using?
Thank YOU, John C.

Thanks John. The harmonica is a SEYDEL Chromatic SAXONY Harmonica Orchestra C Matte Chrome. The lowest note is the G below middle C.

I also have a Hohner Tenor Chromatic, and a Suzuki chromatic ( forgot the model)

Also I have a bunch of diatonic harmonicas in different tunings . But I find for me chromatic is much easier to play than diatónic .
