It seems that over time I’ve accumulated about a dozen computer/TV monitor power cables. Now, I need extension cords. Is there an adapter that could be attached to the female end of the monitor cable so that it could be used as a safe, reliable extension cord? Thanks

I think just Googleing "computer cables" would be your best bet
