Great find, and yes...3 to do what an arranger will do, that's the beauty of them IMHO.

It's just a carry over from the organs we used to buy!

An organ was always a one man band (later ones anyways) and so is an Arranger.

Hey gang, you are all organ players....Ha, ha....it's just the lower manual is stuck next to the upper and no pedals needed as the style plays them for you. And they are a LOT cheaper!
We usually had 44 notes upper and 44 notes lower, now the chord section is limited to a very small area, that's one reason to add the separate lower manual, but the arranger will play exactly like without it.

Keyboard player in a band, completely different animal...mostly piano type players.
