Prince AJ Great instructional lesson ....
many never go the extra step to create their own custom stylesall arrangers should make it so easy to make your own styles. cool2

Great indepth explanation of how to proceed in making your own styles here. But as Donny remarked not many, if any, get that far.As a matter of fact from what I have learned over the last few months since purchasing a Ketron SD7 there are very few who even manage to get down to the Modelling function on the SD models which is less demanding and slightly less rewarding than making up your own style from scratch. Watching AJ making this video to create ONE new style from scratch it may also become apparent why buying good stuff like e.g. his style packs are going to cost you. Many in the arranger world have come to take for granted that these things can be had by the pound so to speak for a mere trifle.
Highly appreciated and well done AJ !!!

regards
John

Ok ... I'll return to some basics pretty soon - in the meantime ...

Recording a famous song ... in 10mins or less!

As a result of feedback from NAMM 2020:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tfv2mFOlPk&feature=youtu.be

Donny,

Do yourself a big big favour and go and visit AJ as you intended to all along. And while you are there just consider........( consider I said, nothing more.....)
And best hang on to the Roland and forget about the Hammond !!!
I know you hate the idea of having two arranger keyboards but believe you me it grows on you. Besides a number of folks here have four or five of these contraptions.....just saying.....
And to quote yourself in your advice to me prior to Christmas:
Give yourself a treat you only live once !!!!

regards
John
