Thanks Stephenm52 for noticing I’ve been absent of late. Hope you are all doing well.

I have taken a haitus from arrangers

and am working on piano.

My latest acquisition. Love it. The keyboard is awesome!

Tx for replying. I will share some sound from the RD 2000 at some point.

I should explain that I sold my S975 to a local church for their praise band. And I have been working with folks in the band to learn the S975.

I still have and play my Genos but rarely gig with it these days.

The RD2000 came to me at a good price, so I bought it. These past few years, I have been “attempting” to learn piano...a slow but rewarding process for me.

I’m not sure where my piano experiment will take me but I certainly enjoy the action of a piano.

Given the weight of the RD2000, it’s not likely that I will use it gigging but who knows? I have used my limited piano skills occasionally gigging with the PX560.

Same keybed as in the new Fantom 8

Incredible keyboard indeed
For playing piano...

Just remember, you can allways add an arranger module...

Hi guitpic1,

Nice to hear from you. So your’re performing on a digital piano now? Vocals too? Have you noticed any difference in your audiences reaction from the arranger KB to the digital piano? Just curious. Thanks.

First off. Thanks for all the words of encouragement. My RD2000 has been just a joy to play. I love the action and tone options...especially being able to play a bass line while chording with the right hand.

I’ve been fortunate to have a woman(50ish) who fronted bands(as a keyboardist in Nashville) living here. She is amazing and has been teaching me performance theory. I feel like a whole new world has been opened to me.

All this said, I can better understand why performing pianists stick with piano vs. an arranger.

If you all are ok with it, I’ll share my ongoing experiences.

Take care all.
