Which stage piano would you choose...hammered action a pre-requisite? My DGX650 is most likely sold to my niece.

I like red; knobs and sliders...Nord....truth is, they sound like most high end stage pianos. If I used a Nord to gig, I would have to add an SD 40/90.

I’ve listened for hours to YouTube videos re: stage pianos for the best piano sound; coming through my TV, can’t tell a difference.

I will continue to use my Genos for gigs.

However, I’m getting more requests for simple instrumental music bacground....I like 88 keys for that with styles.

The thought has crossed my mind to use the Casio PX560 with an SD40/90 for the instrumental stuff.

Thoughts?

Tx.

If I went Nord, this would be my choice.

Gone off the deep end right?

😊

Kawai is the answer...
Mp7 or mp11..

Best keybed in the buiseness
Great sounds to
And very very versatile as a master controller for Ketron..

The MP11 has less sounds, but even better touch it weighs a ton tough
The MP7 has still good touch, much better then kawai, and has a full set of sounds..
Weighs i think half of the mp11.. even has a virtual drawbar organ and keybed seting onboard..
