is one of those haunting songs that has a great beat, great lyrics and a sax riff that is just unforgettable. I would have loved to had Randy (Saxman) here with me when I recorded this, but he's still enjoying those balmy breezes in the Florida Panhandle right now, so I fired up my aging Yamaha PSR-S950, selected the Rock Cha Cha Style, D-variation, set the tempo at 115 and used the first intro. The sax voice is one that I created for the PSR-3000 about a decade ago, but it still sound good to me. Boo will likely tell me it sounds like crap, but he rarely visits here anymore, so I guess I'll dodge his bullets. wink Here's an old fart's rendition of Baker Street. I messed up the ending a bit, but what the Hell, I'm old and retired, so I think I'm allowed to mess up once in a while.

Nice Gary. Great mix and the style suits it perfecto! The 3000 was my first board and had a lot of success live - the people loved it - I think you helped me a lot in that time.

I really can't find the Yamaha simplicity required for some of the standards and big band on Korg - I miss that, but work around it too smile

Good job Gary! The 950 sounds great. Maybe you should hit the Keys (Florida, as well as 950) for another season...you still got it!

Thanks for the compliments, guys. And, how I wish I could sail to the Florida Keys and perform down there again for the winter. That was so much fun, living aboard the boat and performing 3 nights a week. I intend to take a shakedown cruise on the boat in the next few weeks, head south to Hilton Head, SC and visit an old friend, then sail back north. Though I think I will take a shorter trip first to see how my health issues effect my safety while sailing.

Thanks again, everyone,

Gary cool

Tony, I had the nasal O2 hooked up to me at the time, and had to use Albuterol inhaler in order to sing. Unfortunately, the drug is short lived, but I usually get an hour or so of relief.

Donny, thanks for listening and commenting, old friend. Today, I'm headed to the boat to do some last minute work before putting the sails up and sailing to Saint Somewhere.

All the best,

Gary cool
