With all the talk we get on forums about which arranger has the best piano sounds I thought this would be fun for some of you.

Try to listen with headphones.

The only thing I can write is back in the mid 1970s I worked for the Steinway dealer in Providence, RI. We sold a number of different brands of grand pianos. At the time my piano chops were much better than they are today. There was nothing like the experience sitting behind playing either the 7 foot Model B or the 9 Foot Model D grand pianos. There’s no video in the world that can give the pianist the experience sitting behind one of these gems. At the time the 9 foot D was selling for $13,000 current list price is now $156,800. I believe the B was selling for $9,000 today it’s something like $81,000.
