I love my 3X, for 5 years and running. I am wondering how this board maps out with the 4X (transferring of all work in songbook).

Any replies appreciated.

My Advice and as Don M told me when I needed to do the same scenario... start from scratch with the PA4x and make it your own,...you'll be happy you did, you gonna find all sorts of new things to use.. .... I was in the exact predicament,...Tip: put a number 1 in front of all your LIVE Performance Songs so when you filter your song book search all your show songs are on top in order,.....this way you dont need to make a custom SB list....works great..

If you really want to do it, you can use the Songbook Editor. It will be necessary to remap because the styles are generally in new locations. There was recently a thread at the Korg forum on this and Paulo from Korg recommended doing it that way. Here is the link:

Jim

I'm with Donny, Mason suggested I start from scratch and
I did. I've arranged Songbook with a number in front of it for what I play. 1 for instrumentals 2 for vocals 9 for Christmas gigs.

Doesn't the Korg have a search feature like Yamaha? I use numbers in the keyword section and it works super.

Having to rebuild a song book can be a blessing – you get a chance to upgrade your thinking.
